Briq design resin sculptures are hand made and the result of research for the creation of objects designed to decorate contemporary and trendy environments with taste, colour and imagination.
Most of these are made of resin, a material now very popular for the production of furniture products. The process of making a resin sculpture is totally artisanal. The ideas of our designers are put on paper through sketches, following which skilled sculptors hand shape a clay model also called “soul” that is used for the construction of moulds in gum.
The resin is added to a hardening liquid and manually poured into the moulds. Once the resin has hardened, the moulds are opened by extracting the raw sculptures, which before they can be decorated, must be cleaned of burrs or processing residues, repaired, sanded and washed manually.
