Lockdown has been really hard on our beauty industry, having been closed since the middle of March, and currently no date to return - there are girls (and some guys!) all over the country desperate to get their beauty treatments done. Whilst hairdressers are now allowed to return, for other disciplines within the sector still have a little while to wait. So what better time than this to zhoosh up your salon ready for your first customers.

Reception

Your reception area is the first thing people notice when they walk into your business. So what do you want them to think? Do you want it to feel soft and feminine, or edgy and industrial? Reception desks are a great way of showing a sneak peak of what’s to be expected throughout the rest of the salon. Some of the cool desks we’ve seen include using reclaimed wood, for a more organic feel, or mirrored tiles, for that disco glam look.
